Let’s call this a virtual coffee break. 🙂 I know I’ve been mute here (again), so here’s a quick update for those curious few:
- First and foremost, The Illusory has been (and still is) undergoing edits. It’s a dragging process and I wish I had better results to give, but its pretty much just ongoing tinkering and fighting off unnecessary filler words over here. 😛 The progress has been great so far, but there’s still a ways to go before its over. *insert violent sobbing here*
- For those who haven’t seen it on social media, both my novellas are now officially available in ebook AND paperback! This is the first time Rum Runner has been in paperback, so kinda excited about that. 🙂 So far both can be found on Amazon and Barnes & Noble’s website.
- Last but not least, in between the editing and revising, I’ve been doing some behind-the-scenes poking with my Patreon. I promised I wouldn’t launch it until Illusory was finished, and I’m keeping my word, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been plotting and scheming during my editing breaks. (Ok, so a lot of it has just been daydreaming and writing notes on scraps of paper, but still…)
So that’s pretty much it. Just a lot of grunt work and cursing going on over here. Hopefully towards the end of summer I’ll have a better update to give, just because I hope to have most – if not all – the editing on my end done so that the editors can finally take a swing at it. It’s a dull, long process, but hey, at least its one more step closer to being readable. 😀
And with that said, I’m off to conquer some more editing!
